SIMONE PANZIERA
principal architect

Simone graduated from the Pratt Institute NY Combined Bachelor/Masters Program in Architecture in 1992, preceded by a Bachelor of Architectural Science from Ryerson University in 1990. With a resume of work from a broad range of award-winning Canadian and American firms, Simone founded thinkform architecture + interiors in 2007, bringing his diverse array of skills and experiences back to the Southern Ontario market. Simone has designed all manner of projects ranging from 26 gate airports and multi-storey buildings to boutique cafes and heritage building restorations. With 20+ years of experience, Simone imparts a uniquely artistic insight to both public and private sector projects of all sizes and scopes.

FRANCES BOYCHUK

Interior Designer with 20+ years of working and teaching experience who desires to use unique design vision combined with functionality. Frances has studied Art History and believes that elegant biophilic elements can bridge the worlds between human and naturalistic co-existence. Frances has innovative ideas for social challenges and adversities. Much like the before-her-time Architect Lina Bo Bardi (1914-1992), Frances strives to create bold, innovative, thoughtful design that sets your business apart and brands companies as a place where people want to be. Focusing on affordable housing, supportive communities led by design intuitiveness, she strongly believes that local design needs to be completed by regional designers and architects. As the past president for ARIDO three times, she strives for ethics within the design process.

SARAH WILSON

Intern ARIDO + BID
As a new graduate from Conestoga College, Sarah brings a fresh perspective and eagerness to learn to the team. With a passion for sustainability and biophilic design, Sarah hopes to aid in the change in the design industry for a greener building perspective. Sarah aims to create thoughtful spaces to meet your needs, while being mindful of the environment. Sarah excels at research and development, not just in interior design but also in how to maximize spaces in term of social needs. She adds value to the back-end of the design process through surveying clients, cross-referencing results to market trends, and seeing where the gaps are in existing research and space planning. Sarah is a key listening partner to identify the needs of the client and analyze it appropriately. Sarah is currently working towards her WELL AP certification and CIDQ certification. Her focus in her Bachelors degree was sustainability, biophilic design, and the design of an eco-conscious Environmental Science Research Library with the University of Waterloo.

ALIAA ADEL OTHMAN

Aliaa is an architectural designer with 3+ years of experience working in residential projects. Aliaa has completed her Ph. D. in architecture from Cairo University in Egypt as of September 2021. Her research scope relating to the bioclimatic design of open urban spaces in business parks in hot climates. She has 5+ years of experience teaching architecture in Egypt. In 2017, Aliaa was the winner of 5 architectural competitions on the Archbazar website in the United States. She has studied building materials and methods and Ontario Building Code courses are Ryerson University and George Brown College. Aliaa is currently working towards gaining her intern architect certificate by submitting her application to the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB). Aliaa is skilled in construction drawings and 3D models for various projects, and is also very interested in sustainable design and green rating systems such as LEED.

MICHELLE THACH

Michelle is a recent graduate from the McEwan School of Architecture, where she completed both her Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture degrees. She aims to obtain her architectural license and pursue additional academia in Landscape Architecture. Michelle enjoys problem resolution and acquiring new skills in a professional and optimistic manner. As a practice, Michelle always strives for design that supports wellness and well-being, and strives to provide high-quality and compatible designs for diverse communities. Michelle has developed her skills for thorough site analysis, such as decoding social, cultural, political, and environmental resources, and visually representing the success behind various designs. She has familiarity with wellness architecture and biophilic design and its abilities to improve human wellness in the spatial environment.
JENNIFER DIXON

Jennifer is thinkform's bookkeeper extraordinaire. Her passion for invoicing, combined with her love of good design, keep thinkform inspired to design another day. Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, Jennifer is a valuable and integral part of of thinkform's team.
