  • Management of multiple projects at a time, varying in size and type

  • Prepare and/or work with junior staff to coordinate drawings and specifications for client review, permit application, bidding, and for construction.

  • Coordination with consultants

  • Construction administration services

  • Research on products and participate in the choice of materials and construction systems

  • Support and supervise junior staff


  • Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or Diploma (DEC) in Architectural Technology

  • Licensed OAA or MAATO member

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an architecture environment

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Building Code

  • Thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing

  • Able to manage multiple projects at a time

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Highly organized & self motivated

  • Strong work ethic & team player

Junior/Intermediate Interior Designer

We are looking for a Junior or Intermediate Interior Designer who can use both their keen technical knowledge and aesthetic judgement to play a key part in our firm's growth while developing their project coordination and design skills.

  • Develop conceptual designs to communicate with both clients and stakeholders

  • Provide overview and leadership in functional programming, schematic design, working drawings, and contract administration

  • Undertake space planning responsibilities for projects of varying sizes, as required

  • Select and specify finishes and fixtures for a variety of projects

  • Assist in leading project meetings and client presentations

  • Prepare contract documents, including floor plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, millwork sections and details, schedules, and specifications, in compliance with the Building Code

  • Render 3D design concepts

  • Produce digital and physical sample boards for presentation to clients

  • Be responsible for project coordination and management duties

  • Perform work with minimal supervision

  • Maintain the social media accounts including the website, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Prepare architectural and interior design proposals

  • Support management on large and/or unique assignments as required


  • 1-5 years of interior design experience within Canada

  • Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program

  • Has obtained, or is working towards, NCIDQ registration

  • Experience in programming, planning principles, materials, and furnishings

  • Experience with Interior Design drawing package coordination and production

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, complete, and legible drawings

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch Up

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point

  • Familiarity with local Building Codes

  • Strong design and leadership skills and a professional work ethic

  • Excellent organizational and technical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
